Good day fellow humans. Hope all is good and that the long weekend came around with a lot of relaxing.
Everyone has been going absolutely bonkers over the all new charcoal masks that will vaporize any blackhead in sight. So as a pretty average human that also suffers from blackhead attack I decided to give this a go.

Firstly I will run through all the necessary steps to get it on and off, and then bring to you my honest opinion.
For starters the obvious first step would be to run to the store and pick up a sachet of Dr Rashel Black Peel-off mask.

To make it work even better I suggest you wash off all oil and make-up from the skin with your cleanser and luke warm water. Then to open up the pores a little more than how we like them I take a facial cloth and soak it in warm water (not scorching hot - just warm) and lay it on your face for about 2 - 3 minutes.

Now slap on the face mask onto that beautiful work of art you call your face. Because that's where face masks go. On your face.

Wait for it...... Now peel!
Wait about 15 - 20 minutes or until dry and the peel the mask from your face.

Inspect the lovely mask that now holds all your little dirty face mountains.

Now that, that is all done and your face feels fresh and clean you can grab a cup of cuppacino and hear what I thought about the mask.
First off I want to start by saying that this is a review for this specific brand and this brand only, as there is a wide variety of brands out there that one can try. I wanted to do this review as I like trying new things and experimenting with different products.
Product handling:
This face mask was very easy to apply as it is kinda sticky so it sticks to your skin quite nicely. Difficult to remove from your fingers if a stick or brush is not used to apply. It dried very quickly and did not drip from my face at all ( which is nice, especially if you are busy with other things while waiting for it to dry). The sachet was easy to use with easy step-by-step instructions explaining the who, what, where and how.
Product review:
It left my skin feeling very soft and hydrated. There was no break outs after wards and no skin irritations or any funny business going on, on my face. It felt good and dried very quickly. Now probably for the part you all have been waiting for..
Did it remove blackheads???
YES!!!
Not all of it which was quite sad but it removed waaay more than I thought it would. To be honest I did not think that it would remove any blackheads but it removed a significant amount from my nose.
The most important step for success would be to steam or heat your face with a face cloth as this step opens up the pores and makes it able for the mask to grab on to those pesky little monsters and pull them right out of their hole (cause I didn't invite them over).
So would I say that this mask is a success??
Absolutely yes!
As Simon Cowell would say "It's a yes from me!"
Thanks for reading my very first review :)
I loved doing this and there is a million other more on the way.
Lots of love,
Lelani
