Hi guys,
Lately I have been trying to take better care of my skin. One day I was relaxing and it hit me that not taking care of my skin now will result in having 'not-so-radiant' skin when I get older over time.
Why is skin care important?
The skin is the largest organ of the human body acting as a protective barrier between the outside world and the inner body. Therefore you need proper care of the skin in order to keep this protective layer intact and healthy for best protection.
Not only is it important for the protection factor but also for lifelong beautiful and radiantly glowing skin. Skin care is not a one-time thing, but rather a lifelong process. Meaning that if you want lifelong beautiful skin you have to put in lifelong effort.
I decided to take my 'me-time' in the bathtub to the next level.
So welcome to my bathtub!

What is inside my bathtub?
* Organic Coconut Oil from Organicgels
* Vitamin E Oil from Reitzer's
* Eucalyptus Oil from Dischem
* Crème Foam Bath from Good Stuff
* Rose Scented Bath Salts
Why Coconut Oil?
Coconut Oil is a great moisturizer that is both antibacterial and antifungal. What I love about Coconut Oil is the fact that I can rub it all over my skin and it will make me look well hydrated instead of greasy and oily. It is also a great alternative for shaving creams with waaay less chemicals as it is a natural product. Coconut Oil also prevents water loss from the skin keeping it hydrated. Another reason why I am obsessed with Coconut Oil and never without it is because of the wound healing properties and helps fight against scarring. I have found scars and stretchmarks to become lighter over time while using Coconut Oil in my bath and as a moisturizer.

Why Vitamin E Oil?
Vitamin E Oil is an absolute darling when it comes to skin care. It is a great nourisher, moisturizer, antibacterial miracle oil. It is a great oil to add to your bathtub and I would definitely recommend adding this baby in the water with you. Add a bottle cap full while running the bath to relax in while it takes care of the skin. Vitamin E Oil will treat stretch marks, lighten scars and dark spots and dark circles and can also be used to treat sunburn. This amazing oil can also be used as a cleansing agent for your skin and will fight the signs of age-ing. Can I get a hell yeah over here?!

Why Eucalyptus Oil?
Eucalyptus oil will definitely be my holy grail for running a perfect tub of hot water. It smells absolutely amazing and I fell in love with it a couple of months ago kind of instantly! I opened the bottle and the smell hit my heart just in the right spot.I was hit down to the ground by a terrible flu when my Mr Perfect came home with this lovely oil - he filled a bathtub and added the oil as one of the benefits of this oil is that it fights colds and flu's. Not only that but it is a great antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antiseptic. There is a couple more anti's in there but you get the picture. Because of all these anti's it is a great treatment for acne, scars, cuts, bruises and wounds. With this added to your tub it also takes care of joint and muscle pain. Together with the steam it will also open up your sinuses and lungs from flem. But the main reason why I love this oil is because of the relaxing feeling it brings over you as you lay in the water - as another great benefit is the reduction of stress.

Why Cremè Foam Bath from Good Stuff?
Honestly I absolutely love love love this product from Good Stuff. They have amazing products and very good prices available. I love the soft feeling it leaves on my skin together with the soft smell. Saying soft smell might sound weird but if I had to describe it it would definitely be soft.

Why Bath Salts?
Overall I do not find any real health benefits fro using Bath Salts in my bath tub but I do however find it incredibly relaxing. It adds to the luxury relaxing feeling. It does however improve the cleaning agents in the bath tub making you squeaky clean!
Thank you for running through my bath routine with me.
It is incredibly important to take care of your skin like I said earlier. Even more important together with Skin Care is a skin care routine.
Thanks so much for reading guys!!
Is there anything you cannot take a bath without? Let me know in the comments below!
